Before we begin it is important to note the following info about the Point of Sale.
Receipt emailing and texting features are disabled by default but can be turned on with a little help and setup from support@dcit.com.
To access the point of sale simply click the point of sale icon from the BusinessMind home page
This will load the Point of Sale checkout interface.
You can utilize the Tracking drop down to select tracking information for your transactions.
Clicking on the Assisted By link will allow you to add multiple sales associates to your transactions. You can also remove a selected associate by reselecting them from the list.
To exit the point of sale interface click on the Tray icon to display the tools tray and choose the Exit POS option.
The Checkout button can be utilized to bring you back to the main checkout tray.
From the point of sale action menu you can clear the cart, clear any discounts assigned, add a custom amount, and or add a custom refund amount.
To create a job utilize the Take In Job button. For more detailed information on this process click here.
To sell or replenish a Gift Card utilize the Gift Card button
To apply discounts to ALL items in your checkout tray utilize the Discount button.
Utilize the Transaction button to look up previous transactions. From here you can choose items to process a Return / Refund and or Exchange.
