Canceling or stopping a job is done by changing the job estimate to $0.00 and adding a final route noting that the job is canceled or stopped.
From the job detail view you will first want to change the estimate to $0.00
After this restock any Materials on the job with provisioned qty so they go back into your inventory.
Once your provisioned qtys have been restocked you can click the Add Final Route button to conclude the job.
In your final route you will note that the job is canceled or stopped and save the record.
The terminology you use here is completely up to you. If you require you can even create a technician called Stopped Job or Canceled Job and select this for the technician on the final route. This will allow you to create a smart set by Route Tech and search for those canceled jobs. The below screen shot has an example of this smart set.
