You may run into a customer who requires the use of multiple payment methods to pay for their purchase. The point of sale will allow you to do this. We recommend you first record any credit card transactions then move to other payment methods if needed. As you record each payment they are saved into BusinessMind at that time.
To process a split payment from the point of sale follow the below instructions.
When you are ready to record your payments from the point of sale click the charge button.
When the payment screen displays you will note a Split button. Clicking this option will allow you to enter the payment amount you will be recording first. Enter this then click the Continue... button
Now you can choose your payment method and record it.
You will have an option to print and continue to the Next Payment via the Next Payment button.
After clicking Next Payment you will be back at the split payment window. Here you can further split the payment. Click Continue to proceed.
Continue recording payments until your transaction is completed.
