The transform sku option allows you to modify a sku via the workshop then receive it back into inventory preserving the sku number.
NOTE: These instructions assume you have created jobs with materials and routing and that the job has had a final route applied and is ready to be received.
Click on the plus icon from the Inventory home page and select Receive Inventory from Workshop OR Click on Inventory link from the BusinessMind home page.
Then click the Receive from Workshop link under the Receiving Resources section of the inventory home page.
Enter a Receiving Ref Id in the provided field then click over to the Job field and begin typing the job number of the job you are receiving into inventory. As you type the system will refine the search. Select the job number to continue by clicking on it.
Now check the box to Transform Sku
This will enable the Target Sku search. In this field search and select the sku
Set your qty, price and any other fields you need
When ready click the save icon to save
