BusinessMind software integrates with Amazon Quicksight to provide fast, cloud-powered business intelligence that that makes it easy for you to deliver insights to everyone in your organization. QuickSight lets you create and publish interactive dashboards that can be accessed from browsers or mobile devices.

After you sign up with Amazon QuickSight let the DCIT support staff know by emailing support@dcit.com. The DCIT support staff will configure your businessmind system for the Amazon QuickSight integration, then provide you with the info you will need to complete the below steps.
Login to your Amazon Quicksight dashboard.
Click the New Analysis button.
Click the New dataset button.
For a BusinessMind connection click the locate and click the PostgreSQL button
On the next screen set the following fields to the below info.
Data source name: BusinessMind
Database server: data1.bmj.dcit.com
Port: 5432
The Database name, Username, and Password will be provided to you by the support staff.
Once all the information is filled out click the Validate connection button to test the connection.
If successful click the Create data source Button.
Next you will add your tables. You will note that each table looks to be listed twice but one ends in view. The views are the ones you want to add.
Select the first view in the list and click the Select button
Amazon QuickSight offers two different ways to query your data you can choose the one that best suits your needs (note that amazon spice may have data limits). Complete the process by clicking the Visualize button. It can take some time for the data to first load.
