You may run into a contact that was entered incorrectly as a person or organization. From the contact detail view via the BusinessMind Web App you can easily change this as per the instructions below.
From a Chrome, Safari, or Firefox web browser head over to http://www.dcit.com
At the top of this page you will find a LOG IN button
Click the LOG IN button which will bring you to the BusinessMind Web App login page. You can bookmark this page for future direct access.
From the BusinessMind Home page click on the Contacts link.
From the contacts home page search for the contact you need to modify.
Click on the contact you need to modify to display the delete view.
From the bottom of the detail view you will have either a button to Convert to a Person or a button to Convert to an Organization.
Click the convert button and then click Yes to the confirmation message to confirm.
If you are converting an Organization into a Person, after you click Yes, be sure to fill in the contact records First and Last name fields as they will be blank. Failure to do so will result in issues searching from the various areas of BusinessMind
