Your BusinessMind subscription renews on the first of every month and is automatically charged to the credit card on file. At that time an email with a link to your service bill is sent out to the billing email on file.

The system will email the monthly billing invoice to the user who has the bookkeeper role. If more than one user has the bookkeeper role then it will choose one. If you have more than one user with the bookkeeper role but you always want it to pick a specific user to email the invoice to, please contact support and let us know which user that should be and we tag it as the preferred bookkeeper user for receiving the monthly invoice email.

If you do not have any users with the bookkeeper role, then it will fallback to finding a user with the admin role. There will always be at least one so you are assured of receiving your invoice. If there is more than one then the system will choose one. The best way to control which user receives the billing invoice email is by assigning that user the bookkeeper role, even if they are also an admin. This article describes how to modify roles.

The below is an explanation of the various parts of your service bill. Please note, depending on your services your bill will differ from the example.

Your services bill will be broken into separate charges which may include.

  • Your Plan

  • Additional Geolocations

  • Additional Users

  • Custom Application Fees

Your BusinessMind Service Plan:

This line item will display your current BusinessMind service plan. Full details on all available plans and what they include can be found on our pricing page linked here.

Additional Geolocations:

The BusinessMind Standard Plan or higher supports multiple geolocations. Each additional location will display in its own line item and are billed according to your service plan.

Additional Users:

Each BusinessMind Plan includes a certain number of included users. Any additional users added are billed at $30.00 per user and will display on your service bill as one line item.

If I add an additional user, when will they display on my service invoice?

Adding an additional user will display on your next service invoice.

If I add an additional user, then remove it before my next service invoice, will I still get charged for it?

Yes, when you add an additional user, that user will reflect on your next service invoice even if it was removed shortly after.

I added a user on December 10th and deleted it on January 1st, will I be charged for the additional user on my February invoice?

Yes, this additional user will still display on your February invoice as it was present in the January billing cycle. To avoid this the user would need to be deleted on or before December 31st.

My Plan includes 5 users. I have 5 users and I want to replace a user. How do I add the new user without triggering the additional user charge?

First remove the previous user. Then create the new user.

Custom Application Service Monthly Fee:

BusinessMind supports custom application programming which comes at a monthly service fee. If you have any custom application services it will display on a line item.

If you currently have custom services and no longer require them please contact support@dcit.com so they can assist you with removing these.
