Before we go into this process let us define what a provisioned and consumed qty are. A provisioned qty is the qty you added to the job that is not yet consumed. This means at any point you can restock some or all of that provisioned qty. Once the material is consumed it is used up into the job and can no longer be restocked. This is why adding materials to jobs requires you to first provision the qty then consume because as noted above you can not un-consume.

If you have provisioned qty on a job and would like to restock some or all of it follow the below instructions.

  • From the BusinessMind home page click on the Workshop Module.

  • From the Workshop home page Search for the job you want to modify.

  • Click on the Job to display the Job detail view.

  • Scroll down to your materials.

  • Each material will display the provisioned qty and any consumed qty.

  • In the below pictured example we have consumed 8 qty and have 2 provisioned qty left in the job.

  • We will now restock the remaining 2 qty

  • From the Drop down menu select Restock Qty and Enter the qty to restock then tab out of the field

  • Click the Save button to save the changes.

  • The qty will be restocked to the original sku.

NOTE: If you accidentally consumed qty and need to get it back into stock your only option is to manually add the qty back to the sku https://help.dcit.com/en/articles/1767752-how-to-change-the-qty-of-a-sku-from-the-sku-detail-view
