You may run into an instance where you need to recreate a sealed appraisal or perhaps your creating an appraisal and it will be helpful to copy the info from a previous appraisal.

To do this follow the below instructions.

  • Note the appraisal number you need to copy info from..

  • From the BusinessMind home page click on the Contacts link.

  • Under contact resources click the Create New Appraisal link

  • Fill in the To, set the appraisal number (you can use a -# if you would like to record a variation of the original appraisal number), modify the date if needed, and fill in any other info you require.

  • Using the Lookup, type the appraisal number of the original appraisal you are remaking.

  • Select it from the list which will populate the item info from the original appraisal.

  • Make any changes you need like modifying the value, description, ect...

  • Click the save icon to Save the Appraisal.

  • When ready click the Seal Appraisal button to complete the appraisal.

We do not recommend you keep the original appraisal as its good practice to have a paper trail of the modifications. This being said if you need to delete an appraisal simply open the appraisal and click on the gear icon where you will find a delete option.
